Esther Gitau is the Founder/CEO of Chazak IT Ltd an ICT Company based in Nairobi. Esther has focused on working with women and the youth in technology to sharpen their skills and expose them to the market. This is because she believes women and the youth in STEM have fewer opportunities in big organizations. Esther has previously worked in a startup that was reselling internet services to the underserved helping the company get over 1000 internet users. She managed a sales team of over 10 staff and a team of 6 in technical and support.
Chazak (a Hebrew word meaning to prevail, to be strong, to conquer) IT Ltd was founded in 2020 and main focus was cyber security, ICT infrastructure, CCTV and alarms among other technology opportunities. Chazak IT has through Esther’s sales leadership partnered with Air Navigation services across the globe with a target of getting business opportunities with the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
Chazak Focuses on working with government organizations, schools and colleges, NGOs Banks, and Telecommunication companies among others. Under the leadership of Esther, Chazak has managed to get business in the region. These opportunities are in countries like Congo where Chazak Is supplying computers and other telecommunication equipment, Pursuing business interests in Rwanda, Uganda, and Ethiopia. In a few years Chazak will be a brand known in the region and beyond. Esther is a trained teacher who holds a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from the University of Nairobi. She is keen on growing and sustaining an empowered community through Information Technology.
