Elishiba is a dynamic and passionate professional with over 10 years’ experience with a proven track record of leading teams, managing projects, and delivering effective solutions through streamlining operations. Strong background in financial management, operational planning, and compliance, with a deep understanding of project management methodologies. She holds a master degree in MSC Project Management from JKUAT and an undergraduate degree in Social Work from UON. Her work background is Child protection a field she has worked in for the past 12 years.
Despite having no background in food or manufacturing, Elishiba also a mother founded Mommies Choice Products in 2020 driven by a desire to nourish her little one with the most nutritious meal, breastmilk! Her personal nursing journey led her to research and from there she would make lactation cookies for herself with customized recipes. After sharing the cookies, so many moms came back with testimonies of how the cookies had helped them in their breastfeeding journey. She decided to grow a business out of it. Now, Mommies Choice is leading in lactation supplements in Kenya and not only sells cookies but other products like lactation cocoa mix and lactation herbal teas. There are also cookies that cater for different dietary needs including gluten free, sugar free, dairy free and eggless options.
Elishiba had to overcome so many challenges growing up to be where she is. As a passionate leader, her life story of resilience is a motivation to community where she grew in and as such she has been serving in different capacities. Currently serves in two school boards of management in her former primary school and secondary school.
