Hello! I’m Mercy N. Wangari, a highly motivated and passionate individual with a diverse career
background in various areas of employment and a strong focus on the wellness industry and hospitality.
Throughout my professional journey, I have gained valuable experience and expertise that have
culminated in my role as the Managing Director of Spa By Xenaxia, where I continue to make a positive
impact in the wellness sector.
Career Overview:
I began my career with a strong academic foundation, graduating with honours in hospitality
Management from a reputable institution. My journey in the corporate world started with roles as an
executive administrator, where I developed excellent interpersonal skills and a keen understanding of
customer needs. My ability to establish and nurture lasting relationships with clients quickly became a
key strength, leading to my promotion to managerial positions within a relatively short period.
Managing Director of Spa By Xenaxia: Having cultivated a deep passion for wellness and healing, I
founded Spa By Xenaxia, a luxury wellness centre committed to providing a rejuvenating experience for
the mind, body, and soul. As the Managing Director, I oversee the overall operations, ensuring
exceptional service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Achievements as Managing Director: Under my leadership, Spa By Xenaxia has achieved numerous
milestones, including: ·Expanding Services and Facilities: I spearheaded the expansion of our services to
include a wider range of holistic therapies, fitness programs, and personalized wellness packages,
catering to diverse client needs. On top of opening 5 five-star spa outlets namely, Fairmont The Norfolk,
Radisson Blu Upper Hill, Movenpick Hotel and Residences, Lake Elementaita Mountaining Lodge and
Tara Spa at Wadi Degla club in Nairobi, we have also partnered with JW Marriot Mara and Crowne PlazaHotel at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.Industry Recognition: Spa By Xenaxia has received several accolades and awards for excellence in
wellness services and customer satisfaction, solidifying our reputation as a top-tier wellness destination.Community Initiatives: I am actively involved in community outreach programs, promoting wellness
education and offering support to underprivileged individuals in need of wellness services.
Opening of SD Padel: in the country with more than 8 courts operationg in the country.
