MARY NJOKI KIRAGU: Cleo Nature Ltd

Mary Njoki Kiragu serves as the Managing Director of Cleo Nature Ltd, a company dedicated to
producing high-quality natural skincare products. With extensive experience in marketing and
customer care, Mary has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of the companies she has been
associated with.

Before her role at Cleo Nature, Mary honed her skills at Happy Cow, where she excelled as the Regional
Manager for Nairobi and Mombasa. In this position, she was responsible for driving regional growth,
enhancing customer satisfaction, and establishing strong brand presence in key markets. Her strategic
vision and leadership contributed significantly to the company’s expansion in these regions.
Mary later took on the role of Marketing Director at Embu College and All Saints Embu High School. Her
innovative marketing strategies and deep understanding of customer needs helped these institutions
strengthen their brand visibility and attract a wider audience.

In 2017, inspired by a personal experience with one of her children who suffered from eczema, Mary
co-founded Cleo Nature Ltd. The company’s journey began with the creation of a goat milk soap that
successfully alleviated her child’s skin condition. The positive feedback from friends and family who tried
the soap encouraged Mary to transform this solution into a business. Under her leadership, Cleo Nature
has expanded its product line from the original goat milk soap to 15 different natural skincare products.
Today, Cleo Nature’s products are available in major retail outlets, including Quick Mart supermarkets,
Healthy U stores, Goodlife Pharmacy, the MyDawa platform, and Carrefour. The company remains
committed to its mission of making natural products affordable and accessible to everyone, while also
engaging with the community by sourcing ingredients from local farmers.

Mary Njoki Kiragu’s blend of professional experience and personal passion continues to drive Cleo
Nature’s growth and innovation in the natural skincare industry.
