Hilda Gathuya is a Business Executive and an Entrepreneur with over 13 years in the Financial
Technology Industry. She is an experienced Country Manager and an Entrepreneur who has led
inception of business operations successfully in various new markets like Botswana, Mozambique and
Kenya. She has executed growth through strategy formulation for the new markets and leading the
business development efforts in the markets. Hilda has a background in Finance and has held various
roles spanning from Finance, Business Intelligence, Operations and Country Leadership amongst
others.
Hilda Founded Erica Residences in 2019 to fill a gap she saw in the hospitality industry to serve various
customers looking for short term rental solutions. She is currently the General Manager of Erica
residences which has since grown and now looking to expand into new locations.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Finance Major) from University of Nairobi and a Master of
Business Administration from Heriot Watt University. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in
Information Technology.
Hilda has vast experience working with Telecoms, Financial Institutions, Merchants and other value
chains to deliver e-commerce solutions to consumers in the market. She employing the same
experience of service delivery and operations to deliver great experiences in the Short term rental
market in Kenya.
