CAROLYNE MUTHONI NJERI ACCA: Co-founder DigiGreens Holdings Ltd

Carolyne Njeri is an Accountant by profession with over 10 years of experience in various industries with a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in accounting and Finance respectively. She is also an Agri-preneur enthusiast who is passionate about making impact through agriculture and the cofounder at DigiGreens Holdings Ltd, a company with a focus on the cultivation and export of fresh produce and herbs in NJambini, Nyandarua county.

Sustainable Farming Skills

Through her company she seeks to grow and be able to offer local farmers business management skills, that is, expertise in managing large scale agriculture operations, from cultivation to post harvest handling, ensuring consistent harvest and handling. Export and international trade skills are essential in this field to navigate the complexities of international trade including logistics, regulatory compliance and market entry strategies. She advocates sustainable farming practice and in new market development for fresh produce and herbs while leveraging industry insights to expand into lucrative regions.

Leadership

Carolyne is an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Member and has served as Finance committee Board Member at Masterways Regulated-NWDT Sacco Society Ltd for 6 years and a member of Fresh Produce Consortium of Kenya. She advocates for farmers specially to belong to at least one association so that they can learn and walk together to navigate markets and sourcing of financial support.

Other Interest Her free time is spent exploring new cuisines, tourist destinations and spending time with family and friends.
