value chains. With over 13 years of expertise in program planning, design, and execution, she has played

than 6,000 farmers and created 10,000 jobs within smallholder farming communities.
Through her leadership, the company’s strategic initiatives have transformed the livelihoods of
smallholder farmers, boosting household incomes by 30% and increasing annual earnings by an average
of US$1,000. Audrey led the formalization of the poultry value chain, effectively connecting farmers to
formal markets, and successfully developed channels for over 1,000 metric tonnes of grain, generating
USD 1.2 million in revenue.

Audrey’s extensive experience includes collaboration with governments, NGOs, UN agencies, and
donors. She has led projects focused on wildlife monitoring, socio-economic integration in forest
conservation, and community engagement for sustainable resource management at the United Nations
Environment Programme.

In the agricultural sector, she partnered with Environmental Action Team (EAT) to promote
eco-agriculture through farmer training on bio-intensive technologies in Kenya’s Rift Valley province.
Her unwavering commitment to sustainable agriculture and community development continues to
drive positive change at Usomi Limited and throughout the agricultural landscape in arid regions of
Kenya, including Isiolo County, where the company is implementing restocking strategies in response to
the severe loss of livestock due to prolonged drought.
Audrey is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree and holds a Bachelor of
Science in Environmental Sciences. Her current interest is to explore sustainable models for market
system development, inclusive value chain transformation and Usomi Limited’s growth and scaling.
